Change of Pace
Deep into Summer though the sun is reluctant to agree. Band dates and other solo shows were all completed with much aplomb by all and I now find myself with in an unprecedented amount of time off the road. Will pick up again at the end of August, though to be fair, the schedule gets back to its crazy self at that point. It really does take a while to get used to a different perspective or shuffle in our schedules or locations. So am catching up with whoever I am and, oh yeh, bought a bike. One without an engine that is. Am enjoying that very much. It’s interesting to see what you discover, even in areas you know well, with this healthy mode of transport. Have some nice riffs and poetry to mingle with as well and will be heading for the studio in the coming weeks as well.Remember going to Norway to tour back in the early eighties. In fact I think my first overseas gigs were played there. I recall calling my parents from a phone box in the middle of a blizzard and my Mum being very worried! Such a beautiful country and people. A thousand thank you’s was ‘tus n tuc’..so lovely. Heartbroken for them at this moment.
