Forgot to tell you about Sean..

Forgot to tell you about Sean Ryan, he came to the show in Prince George. He recently got out of prison having served a long stretch. Without giving too much up, he had little to no chance of avoiding what happened as, due to circumstances when he was very young, a life of crime was literally forced upon him. He is a First Nations Canadian from the Mik Maq tribe of Nova Scotia, and the concert seemed to mean a lot to him. Sean is an amazing carver, his work is quite beautiful and striking and it's how he intends to earn his living. I felt a great empathy between us and, although I know that adjusting to the outside world must be very hard, he's gonna be ok.
