Typical day

Here’s a typical day in case you were wondering. Worked in the studio till 2.30.am on the song ‘Till The End’, a song I wrote during my trip to Brazil. I want to record an EP for the MST and we are also going to use film we shot over there and make a video with it.So, got out of bed at 8.30 am and walked Harriet down to school. Came back and pushed paper for a few hours, paid bills, email etc. Went back to school with Harriet’s French book, which she forgot to take in this morning. Went into my lock up in town to check on stock levels of some titles, as the company which distribute my stuff in Canada want 1000 units shipped over for the summer tour of festivals. Back into studio to work on the track a little more then picked Harriet up from school. Carried on working in studio till mid evening when I realised the track wasn’t cutting it and I ditched two days work. No point in creating something that sounds fancy if the vibe aint right. I just suddenly decided i didnt like it. That’s just the way it goes sometimes, and i will start it again tomorrow.
