Worcester

This venue has been like a second home lately! Played two dates here with Joan Armatrading and within days Worcester was flooded! Plenty of canoe jokes abound tonight. We tape the show tonight for a possible live album, tomorrow in Southampton too. Tim Hammil does a great job, stuck away in the dressing room. Listening in the interval it sounds really good considering the raw material he has to work with!!On the way home Nige keeps me awake as I drive with many stories from his colourful musical past. As we reach the outskirts of Cardiff his alarm clock goes of in his bag and for a few moments he becomes the incredible hunk, a wild man. Apparently this clock goes of at the strangest of moments, not all appropriate, including waking Nige too early this morning..he's had enough. After struggling to find it in the back of the car he finnaly rips it out of its resting place and flings it out of the car window on the unsepecting M4 where we suspect it will ring forever! He then calmly returns to his story..classic moment.
