Days 3 & 4 Coventry and Narberth

Got to the Coventry gig a bit late and had to rush a soundcheck. Speakers set in a strange position in the room with the mixing desk in a separate room. Made it hard for Mike but all was fine. The programmes arrived at this gig and I was pleased with the way they look. The gig was great, real enthusiastic crowd made me feel very loved. It's a nice job..most of the time. Drove home to Cardiff after show, phoned Mike's favourite restaurant on the way and they stayed open for us. Got to bed around 4amNice to wake up in my own bed even if it was a short night. Gaynor (tour managaer) joined us today and we headed down to Narbeth in West Wales. Arrived to find Father Christmas and a hundred or so children in the hall!! It was carnival day. Waited till they cleared the place and soundchecked. Wandered around the town a bit, great atmosphere in the streets, Christmas hit early here. Lovely sense of community. Gig was good, late start though which meant we didnt finish till around 11.15Decided to take a look at Tenby in the moonlight and walked along the beach at 1am. It is one of my favourite places on the planet and the light and beauty of the place was well worth the effort to go there. Drove home and got to bed at 4.15am. Big day in Cardiff tommorow.
