Sheffield and Cerys Mathews

Forgot to mention that last week whilst connecting through Chicago for Heathrow i met up with Cerys Mathews (Cattatonia). My friend Simon and i are sitting in a bar at the airport, and he notices this strong Welsh accent on a mobile phone. I thought it might be Cerys but wasnt sure, so i went up and said hi and..it was!Had a lovely chat with her, quite bizzare that our paths should cross in such a way so far from home! She is recording a solo album in Nashville. Enjoyed the show at the Boardwalk in Sheffield last night. There were some good other acts taking part, including two guys from a band called Skydiva who i really enjoyed, and a great guitar player called Adrian Burns. Thanks to all who came, it was good to be playing in the UK again!
