In March 2019 Martyn embarked on a 12 date tour across Germany. In strident mood, he played a different setlist each night with some 40 different songs being sung across the tour.

The main set here is from the 24/2 show in the small town of Engelskirchen. A lively crowd dug into a long rich concert that was a powerful snapshot of the ‘Here Come The Young’ album but also included brilliant versions of songs from the past like "All This Time", "Have An Angel Walk With Her", and "Still A Lot Of Love". "Please Sir" also makes a rare appearance here. There is also the first live recording of Martyn playing the piano for "Summer Has A Way" and an edgy cover of Tom Waits "Down In The Hole". Another first is the recording of the instrumental "12". So many people have been asking for this since Martyn started playing it on the Twelve-string guitar back in 2018. Wait no more.

There are also bonus tracks here from shows in Witten on 23/2 "Turn Me Tender", Oldenburg 6/3 "Working Mother" and "Fragile World" and a rare appearance of "Dolphins Make Me Cry" from The Panda Theatre in Berlin on 1/3. Twenty-three tracks of passion and commitment, beautifully recorded with ‘MJ’ on top of his game.
